Over 350 islands constitute the Exuma Cays. Although some are privately owned, many are open to exploration, and some have trails snaking through the interior. Idyllic sandy beaches offering beachcombing or relaxing in solitude are present on many. A boat is needed to access the islands.

Snorkeling, Diving, and Boating
The Exuma Cays is rich with coral reefs, containing both soft and hard corals. The best reefs can be found in the “cuts”, or channels, between the larger islands, or on the eastern side of the larger islands. The shallow waters around the islands offer protected harbors from the wind and waves.
