Great Exuma, Bahamas
Great Exuma is the largest island of the Exumas. Connected to Little Exuma by a bridge and straddling the Tropic of Cancer, it is still relatively undeveloped with an out island feel, except for the new Four Seasons at Emerald Bay resort on the northern end. Highlights of Great and Little Exuma include sandy beaches along the northeastern sides of both islands, snorkeling and beachcombing on Stocking Island, and exploring ruins at Williamstown.

Georgetown
Georgetown is the hub of Great Exuma. Here one may find restaurants, accommodations, and government offices. Although congested at times, Georgetown remains somewhat quaint and scenic, and the main road is a one-way affair that circles an inland pond.

Stocking Island
Stocking Island offers wonderful beachcombing, solitude, and snorkeling from a long sandy beach. A shuttle boat connects it across Elizabeth Harbour to Club Peace and Plenty in Georgetown.
